Roswell UFO Crash

Roswell New Mexico - 1947 - something crashed - or was shot down - causing more controversy as to what really happened than most other UFO events in current history. We do know that something happened - that the government came in and removed a craft and perhaps some bodies. Mac Brazel reported finding portions of a crashed UFO on his ranch. The sheriff of Chaves County passed this information along to officials at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) and an investigation was begun by Maj. Jesse Marcel, an intelligence officer. A press release was issued by RAAF about the...

The Great UFO Wave: October, 1973

Reports of strange flying objects were just about as comman as explanations for their existence yesterday, but police at New Albany and Clarksville, Ind., staked out a field where UFOs had been reported and made three captures. What the police caught was three plastic trashbags with wooden crosspieces supporting tiny lighted candles. An officer blamed the creations on local children. Traffic backed up for miles near Greenwood, Del., as motorists stopped to stare at a bright orange disk that proved to be a seven-foot hoop dotted with orange lights powered by a fire department generator. Five local volunteer firemen were...

UFO and Cattle mutilations

A phenomena that begun in the late 1960s, practically worldwide with the same modus operandi. The first recorded case of cattle mutilation in USA happened during September 1967, near Alamosa in the San Luis Valley, Colorado. An Appaloosa specimen, named "Lady", was found dead and mutilated. Both her head and neck were completely stripped of flesh. Cattle were killed and the body left on the farm ground in various conditions. Appearently, it's been found that the carcass has been totally drained of blood, and that there has been no trace of blood found anywhere on the ground around the body....

Chronology of UFO History

1944 Non-aggressive "Foo-fighters" reported buzzing and flying formation with Allied combat airplanes in European and Pacific Theaters of War. Suggestions that they were Axis air weapons were found unconvincing. 1946 Of 1500+ "ghost rockets" reported from Sweden and neighboring countries, most flew slowly, quietly and level. Attempts to blame Soviet rocket and missile tests from Peenemunde failed. 1947 First major American wave of "flying disc" sightings started with formation of ovals seen weaving through the Cascade Mountains of Washington State at 1700 mph by businessman/pilot Kenneth Arnold. Ground observers reported seeing formations of discs at same time and place. More than 1500 reports...

Cascade Mountains

On June 24th 1947 pilot Kenneth Arnold was flying over the Cascade Mountains when his attention was drawn to a set of nine strange looking objects darting across the sky. At first he thought they were reflections of the sun but after looking at them more closely he realised that they were objects flying in formation. The objects he saw had wings what were curved and shaped like a crescent moon. His next thought were that they were some new aircraft that the Air Force were developing and he started to time them on his clock. He calculated that they...

Chiles-Whitted

On July 24, 1948, two experienced Eastern Airlines crew members, pilot Clarence S. Chiles and his co-pilot, John B. Whitted, en route from Houston to Atlanta, encountered a one hundred-foot-long, wingless, finless, cigar-shaped object with two rows of large, square windows that emanated a bright, glowing light from within. On a seeming collision course with the UFO, Chiles threw his DC-3 airliner into a tight left hand banking turn, and the object, with a forty-foot orange red flame flashing from its tail, shot past not more that seven hundred feet away. The object was tracked on Radar and no explanation...

The Lubbock Lights

These sightings commenced the night of August 25th, 1951, and were witnessed by an Atomic Energy Commission executive and his wife from their Lubbock, Texas, backyard and simultaneously observed by four respected Texas scientists from their vantage point in another part of town. The object (or object) was perceived as approximately three dozen bluish lights. It had the appearance of a giant flying wing as it twice moved across the night skies. Several hundred people in the area witnessed the same phenomenon over the next several days. On August 31, Carl Hart Jr. photographed the lights, but photo analysis could...

Robert Hastings believes the truth is out there - and what he knows of it, he's willing to share. Hastings, an independent researcher and lecturer on Unidentified Flying Objects, will present a lecture, "UFOs: The Hidden History," at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom on the Texas State University-San Marcos campus. Admission is free. He last visited the campus in 1996, and the lecture drew a crowd of more than 200. Since then, he says disclosures under the federal Freedom of Information Act have provided new fuel to the fire that burns in those who...

1952 Flying Saucer Wave

During July 1952 a massive build up of sightings occurred in the United States. The sheer number of sightings caused the Military of the time much concern as the reports were 'clogging' up vital communication links throughout the land. On the night of 19/20th July UFO's were sighted all over Washington DC by both ground civilians as well as several pilots. All the objects were tracked on radar at Andrews AFB, as well as at Air Traffic Control Center, Washington National Airport. Many photographs were taken and these were seen in the national newspapers the following day. Further sightings occurred...

UFO fragments yield sensational results

An unidentified flying object has crashed in the Far East. Hundreds of people witnessed the event. The UFO crashed into the rocky mountains located in the town of Dalnegorsk. A strange spherical object has slightly brushed upon the mount at approximately 8:00pm, January 29th, 1986. Witnesses claim they saw a bright flash but did not hear anything. The glow from the fire appeared rather strange: blue aureole lasted for about an hour and a half. At first, local residents thought it was a rocket from the nearest military base. However, as it turned out, neither our, nor foreign armed forces...
